YOUNG PHARMACOLOGIST AWARD GOES TO ALKU ACADEMICIAN

Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKU) Faculty of Medicine academicians, Department of Pharmacology Dr. Assist. Prof. Dr. Dilara Nemutlu Samur received the “Prof. Dr. R. Kazım Türker Young Pharmacologist Incentive Award”.

Scholars working at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKU) continue to receive awards for their achievements in national and international fields with their studies. One of the academicians of ALKU Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pharmacology Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Dilara Nemutlu Samur received the 'Prof. Dr. R. Kazım Türker Young Pharmacologist Incentive Award', which is given every year by the Turkish Pharmacology Association to young pharmacologists who stand out for their innovative studies in the field of pharmacology. Samur received his award from Prof Dr Alper B. İskit, President of the Turkish Pharmacological Society. The 33rd Symposium on Intergenerational Scientific Interaction in Pharmacology Education was held in Kemer, Antalya. Six speakers presented their scientific studies at the meeting. The award ceremony of the symposium was held at the "Turkish Pharmacology Association Prof. Dr. Alaeddin Akcasu Symposium on International Scientific Interaction in Pharmacology Education".

 Rector Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan congratulated Prof. Dr. Dilara Nemutlu Samur, who was awarded the 'Prof. Dr. R. Kazım Türker Young Pharmacologist Incentive Award' by the Turkish Pharmacology Association. Prof Dr Dilara Nemutlu Samur said: 'The contributions of young academics to the world of science are of great importance. Dr Samur's success is an indicator of ALKU's scientific productivity and strengthens the academic vision of our university. We will continue to stand by our academics advancing in the light of science, encouraging their efforts and growing their success together.

SHE CONTINUES WORKING 

The prize awarded by the Association; it is intended to contribute to the training of independent, highly motivated scientists and to strengthen cooperation between science and industry. Prof. Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Dilara Nemutlu Samur received the award for her study 'Investigation of TLR2/S100B/RAGE Axis Mediated Beneficial Effects of Vortioxetine on Rotenone-Induced Enteric Neuroinflammation in Parkinson's Disease Rat Model and Enteroglial Cell Line'. Samur stated that she will continue her studies.
