Students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKU), who have achieved rankings in national and international competitions, met with Rector Türkdoğan to share their successes.
As Alanya, one of Turkey’s leading tourism and sports cities, continues to attract more athletes, the Faculty of Sports Sciences at ALKU is further increasing its commitment to sports and athletes. Students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, who have achieved rankings in national and international competitions, met with ALKU Rector Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan. The meeting, held in the ALKU Senate Hall, was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Prof. Dr. Hamdi Alper Güngörmüş, Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Işık Bayraktar, Dr. Lecturer Elvan Deniz Yumuk, former national athlete and national team coaches Dr. Lecturer Yeliz Ay Yıldız and Research Assistant Duran Akbaş

Meeting with the athletes, Rector Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan stated: "It is a source of pride to have high-level athletes in many different branches. Once the facility development process is completed, we will contribute to creating practice and training areas for you. We are providing all the necessary support to elevate your achievements to the next level. We will offer every possible support to our young and successful athletes, enabling them to become the best in their fields. I would also like to thank your families, who have played a significant role in your development, and your professors, who support you in every aspect."
During the visit, 50 athletes from different sports disciplines shared their successes and talents with Rector Türkdoğan. The rector congratulated each successful athlete individually. The visit concluded with a group photo session.
