ALKU PARTICIPATED IN “GÜNKAF 2025”

Hosted by Akdeniz University, the Southern Career Fair (GÜNKAF) started with the participation of 7 universities including Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKU) as one of the partners.

Under the coordination of the Presidential Human Resources Office and hosted by Akdeniz University, the most wide-reaching career fair of the region, the Southern Career Fair (GÜNKAF) started with a high attendance. A great opening was held at Mimar Sinan Congress and Exhibition Center for the Southern Career Fair 2025, which opened its doors to students and graduates for the third time. 

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Fadıl Sözen, Isparta University of Applied Sciences Rector Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Çatal, Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, Süleyman Demirel University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Gençtürk, ALKU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kılıç and many provincial protocols, faculty members and students attended the event.

THE FAIR LASTS TWO DAYS

The fair, which was attended by seven universities in the region and more than 240 public institutions and private sector companies, attracted great interest from students.Job and internship interviews, experience sharing, education and conferences for students and graduates are planned to take place in the two-day fair on February 24-25 at Mimar Sinan Congress and Exhibition Center. It is estimated that nearly 50 thousand participants will attend the fair this year, and more than 60 events and educational programs will be organized to ensure that students and participants have a full day at the fair.

MEMORIAL PLAQUE TO RECTOR TÜRKDOĞAN

At the opening of the fair where new opportunities were offered to young people, Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKU) Rector Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan was honored with a plaque by Presidential Human Resources Office Head Assoc. Prof. Dr. Salim Atay for his contributions to GÜNKAF. Emphasizing that ALKU also opened a stand at the fair, Rector Türkdoğan said, “I am very happy that ALKU took part in and contributed to this meaningful fair, which was organized under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in order to guide the career journeys of young people. This year, as ALKU, we came to the fair with many of our students. Our Human Resources Management Community and ALTSO MYO students showed great interest in the fair. Our students will be able to participate in this organization individually as well as ALKU. Last year, we brought our students and companies together at this fair. Thanks to the fair, many of our students had internship and job opportunities. The Southern Career Fair is a very important organization that has achieved its goal. I would like to thank everyone who contributed.”
